Wildlife Sanctuaries & National Parks in Arunachal Pradesh
Arunachal Pradesh, like other states in north east India, offers a lush green and picturesque places and landscapes. Because of extensive rainfall, most of the terrain of Arunachal Pradesh remains green and beautiful almost throughout the year. Wildlife here is fascinating. Diversity of wildlife can be observed in several wildlife sanctuaries of Arunachal Pradesh. Due to the geographical and strategic location of Arunachal Pradesh, most of the places of the state are closed to tourism.
Permission to visit the open-areas can be obtained from the nearest Indian Diplomatic Mission abroad, or while in India, from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Foreigners Wings, Lok Nayak Bhavan, Khan Market, New Delhi 110003. It takes about 6 to 8 weeks to process the applications for permission.
